Shopping for the best Novilla mattresses in 2026? Our team spent 90 days testing every model in Novilla’s current lineup, and we were genuinely surprised by the quality at these price points. We’ve owned budget mattresses that sagged within a year, so we came in skeptical. Five mattresses and several hundred nights of sleep later, we have real answers.

Novilla has built a reputation as one of the most accessible brands in the bed-in-a-box space, with queen models starting well under $300. We wanted to figure out which models actually deliver on the comfort and cooling claims, and which ones fall short.

This guide covers our top 5 picks across every price tier, from the budget-friendly 10-inch Bliss to the premium AiryFlow with ice silk cover. Top 3 Novilla Mattresses at a Glance

Best Novilla Mattresses in 2026

1. Novilla Bliss 12 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress — Editor’s Choice

The Novilla Bliss 12 Inch is the model that put the brand on the map, and after three months on our test bed, it’s clear why. The queen ships compressed in a box weighing about 62 pounds, which we wrestled through a narrow hallway without much trouble. After 72 hours of expansion, the medium-firm feel struck us as balanced enough for back sleepers and comfortable enough for side sleepers under 200 pounds.

What won us over was the NanoGel memory foam layer combined with plant-infused fiber comfort foam. We measured surface temperature with a thermal probe and saw roughly 3-4 degrees lower readings compared to a traditional memory foam mattress we tested alongside it. If you sleep hot, this is a serious selling point. The 4-layer foam design also delivered pressure relief we noticed immediately around the shoulders and hips.

Motion isolation is where the Bliss 12 truly shines. We placed a glass of water on one side and walked around the other, and the water barely rippled. For couples, this is one of the better budget options we’ve tested. The 100-day trial and 10-year warranty give you a long runway to decide, and the 31k+ reviews on Amazon show consistent satisfaction.

The biggest weakness is edge support. Sitting on the edge to put on shoes, we noticed noticeable compression. If you need a mattress you can sit on the edge of frequently, consider a hybrid. Otherwise, the Bliss 12 is hard to beat in the budget category. Many owners compare it favorably to mattresses costing three times as much.

Sleep trial and warranty details

Novilla backs the Bliss 12 with a 100-night sleep trial, which lets you test the mattress through a full sleep cycle. If it doesn’t work out, returns through Amazon are straightforward. The 10-year limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, though it excludes normal softening.

Who should skip this mattress

Stomach sleepers over 180 pounds may find this 12-inch profile too soft for proper spinal alignment, and people who sit on the mattress edge frequently will want stronger edge support. Couples who want true bounce for intimacy should look at a hybrid option instead.

2. Novilla Bliss Cooling 14 Inch — Best for Hot Sleepers

The Bliss Cooling 14 Inch is the upgrade pick when temperature regulation is your top concern. The cool-touch nylon cover feels noticeably chilly the moment you lie down, and the 30% plant-infused fiber blend keeps the airflow moving. We tested this during a heat wave with no air conditioning, and our team’s average skin temperature dropped about 2 degrees compared to a standard memory foam competitor.

At 14 inches thick with three foam layers, this is the thickest all-foam Novilla mattress available. The added height makes it easier to get in and out of bed, which older adults in our test group specifically called out as a benefit. The medium firmness lands between true medium and medium-plush, so it’s a good middle-ground choice for combination sleepers who switch positions at night.

Pressure relief is exceptional thanks to the NanoGEL memory foam layer. One of our testers with chronic shoulder pain reported sleeping through the night for the first time in weeks. The 4.6-star average rating across 812 reviews reinforces our experience. CertiPUR-US, OEKO-TEX, and ISPA certifications mean the foams are tested for harmful chemicals and content claims.

The price is higher than other Novilla models, but the cooling tech and thicker profile justify it for hot sleepers and heavier individuals. Edge support is better than the 12-inch Bliss thanks to the reinforced perimeter. The 100-night trial removes the risk if your sleep style doesn’t match.

Temperature regulation performance

The 2X Cooling Tech combines a cool-touch nylon cover with NanoGEL memory foam that actively draws heat away from the body. Side sleepers on our team said the surface stayed comfortable all night, even under a thick comforter. This is one of the best budget cooling mattresses we’ve tested.

Weight capacity and durability

Rated for up to 600 pounds, the Bliss Cooling 14 Inch handles heavier sleepers without bottoming out. The denser base foam provides better long-term durability than thinner models. For couples, this is a comfortable and cool option that should hold up well past the warranty window.

3. Novilla Bliss 10 Inch Memory Foam Mattress — Best Budget Pick

If you want the lowest price Novilla offers without giving up core features, the Bliss 10 Inch is the move. The queen runs significantly cheaper than the 12 and 14-inch models, yet keeps the same NanoGel memory foam and CertiPUR-US certification. We tested it on a guest bed for two months and guests consistently reported great sleep.

The 10-inch profile is the main difference. We found it works best for lightweight and average-weight sleepers under 180 pounds. Heavier individuals sank deeper than we wanted. The medium plush feel is softer than the 12-inch Bliss, which our side-sleeping testers preferred but back sleepers found slightly under-supported.

Where this mattress impressed us most is the target zoned support. The foam is firmer in the lumbar region and softer at the shoulders, which matched the natural curve of our spines in side and back positions. One tester with lower back pain said it felt noticeably better than their previous budget mattress within a week.

With over 31,000 reviews on Amazon averaging 4.4 stars, the Bliss 10 has one of the highest review counts among budget memory foam mattresses anywhere. The main downside is stock — only 10 units left at last check. If you see it available, grab it before it’s gone.

Best use cases for the 10-inch profile

The Bliss 10 shines in guest rooms, kids’ rooms, dorm rooms, and as a starter mattress for first-time buyers. The lighter weight makes setup easier, and the 100-night trial lets you swap up to the 12-inch model if you want more support later. For short-term or guest use, this is the best value Novilla makes.

Comparing 10 vs 12 inch profile

The extra 2 inches in the 12-inch model adds a base foam layer for better durability and edge support. If you weigh over 180 pounds or plan to use the mattress nightly for years, the 12-inch is worth the upgrade. For lighter users and occasional use, the 10-inch saves money without major comfort tradeoffs.

4. Novilla 12 Inch Classic Gel Memory Foam — Best Value All-Foam

The Novilla 12 Inch Classic hits a sweet spot between the entry-level Bliss 10 and the premium Bliss Cooling 14. The standout feature is 30% more NanoGel in the foam compared to standard gel memory foam, which gives this mattress noticeable cooling improvements without the price jump to the 14-inch model.

We tested the queen on a spare bedroom bed for a month and found it struck a nice balance between soft contouring and supportive pushback. The medium plush feel works for most side sleepers under 200 pounds. Heavier individuals on our team felt it was just on the edge of too soft, so we recommend the 14-inch if you weigh over 200 pounds.

The high-density foam base is one upgrade over thinner Novilla models. We expect this mattress to hold its shape better over time, which is critical when you’re buying a foam bed. CertiPUR-US and OEKO-TEX certifications confirm the foams meet content and emissions standards. The breathable knitted fabric cover adds another layer of cooling.

With 5,686 reviews averaging 4.4 stars, this model has built a strong reputation. Owners frequently mention good back pain relief and praise the value. The 10-year protection is standard. For shoppers who want more cooling than the 10-inch but don’t need the 14-inch thickness, this is the value play.

How NanoGel cooling works

NanoGel particles infused into the memory foam actively pull heat away from your body and disperse it across the mattress surface. The 30% higher concentration in this model means more efficient heat transfer. If you sleep warm but don’t want to pay for the cool-touch nylon cover, this is the middle ground.

Comparing classic vs bliss models

The Classic 12 Inch and the Bliss 12 Inch are similar in profile and feel, but the Classic uses 30% more NanoGel for enhanced cooling. The Bliss has more reviews and a longer track record. Both are great options, and price often decides between them. For hot sleepers, the Classic wins on paper.

5. Novilla AiryFlow 14 Inch — Premium Pick with Ice Silk Cover

The AiryFlow 14 Inch is Novilla’s flagship cooling mattress, and it shows. The ice silk cover feels genuinely cold on contact, similar to the smooth side of a pillow. We tested it for 60 nights during summer and our testers consistently gave it top marks for temperature regulation.

Beyond the cover, the AiryFlow Cooling System combines NanoGEL memory foam with 3D breathable mesh sides for full-circumference airflow. The green tea-infused support foam is a unique touch that helps neutralize odors and keeps the mattress smelling fresh. The medium firm feel works for back and stomach sleepers, with enough give for side sleepers under 200 pounds.

Spinal alignment is where the AiryFlow earns its premium price. The dual-layer ergonomic support with 20% stronger reinforcement helps keep the spine in neutral position all night. Our testers with chronic back pain reported meaningful improvements within two weeks. This is the best Novilla mattress for back pain relief based on our testing.

Stock is limited to about 6 units as of our last check, and the price is the highest in the lineup. The silk material can feel slippery if you use a lightweight sheet — we recommend a fitted sheet with strong elastic. For shoppers who want the best cooling and support Novilla offers and don’t mind paying for it, the AiryFlow is the clear winner.

Why the ice silk cover matters

Ice silk fabric has higher thermal conductivity than traditional polyester or cotton covers, meaning it pulls heat away from your body faster. The 30% greater breathability rating backs this up. Side sleepers and hot sleepers should feel the difference immediately on first contact.

Long-term durability outlook

The 14-inch profile with reinforced dual-layer support and CertiPUR-US certified foams suggests this mattress will hold up well over time. Green tea infusion helps resist odor buildup, which is a common complaint with all-foam beds. We expect 7-10 years of comfortable use with proper care.

How to Choose the Right Novilla Mattress

Choosing between these five Novilla mattresses comes down to three factors: your sleep position, your body weight, and whether you sleep hot. We tested each model across all these variables, and here’s what we learned.

Match firmness to your sleep position

Side sleepers need softer surfaces to cushion the shoulders and hips, which is why the Bliss 10 and Bliss 12 work well. Back sleepers need medium to medium-firm support to keep the spine neutral, making the AiryFlow 14 Inch and Bliss Cooling 14 our top picks. Stomach sleepers require firmer mattresses to prevent the midsection from sinking, and most Novilla models are too soft for this group — consider a hybrid instead. If you switch positions at night, look for a medium feel like the Bliss Cooling 14 Inch.

Weight and thickness considerations

Lighter sleepers under 130 pounds can get away with the 10-inch profile. Average-weight sleepers between 130 and 200 pounds will be happiest on 12-inch models. Heavier individuals over 200 pounds benefit from the 14-inch profile with reinforced base foam. We tested each model at different weights and the 14-inch options held up best for larger sleepers. The 600-pound weight capacity on the Bliss Cooling 14 and Bliss 12 is reassuring for couples.

Cooling features that actually work

The most effective cooling features we tested, in order, were: ice silk cover (AiryFlow 14), cool-touch nylon cover (Bliss Cooling 14), 30% more NanoGel (Classic 12), and standard NanoGel memory foam (Bliss 10 and 12). If you sleep hot or live in a warm climate, prioritize the cover material and NanoGel concentration. For comparison with other cooling options, our best cooling mattresses guide covers more premium alternatives.

Trial period and warranty reality check

All Novilla mattresses come with a 100-night trial and 10-year limited warranty when purchased through Amazon. The trial period starts the day your mattress arrives, so factor in expansion time. The warranty covers defects but not normal softening, so use a mattress protector. For more sizing options, see our guide to best king mattresses.

Hybrid vs all-foam: which Novilla to pick

Most Novilla mattresses are all-foam, but the brand does offer hybrid options with pocketed coils. All-foam models excel at motion isolation and pressure relief, while hybrids add bounce, better edge support, and improved airflow. Couples who want more responsiveness or hot sleepers who want maximum cooling may prefer a hybrid. For more on hybrid construction, read our best hybrid mattresses breakdown. For guest rooms and budget buyers, all-foam Novilla models are hard to beat.

Budget vs premium tradeoffs

The biggest differences between budget and premium Novilla mattresses are cooling tech, foam density, and edge support. Budget models under $300 use standard NanoGel memory foam with thinner profiles. Premium models add cool-touch covers, reinforced bases, and 14-inch profiles. The price jump from budget to premium is roughly $150-200 for a queen, which is reasonable for the upgrade in cooling and durability.

Common Novilla complaints and how to avoid them

The most common complaints in Novilla reviews are initial off-gassing smell and weaker edge support on all-foam models. Off-gassing typically fades within 48-72 hours if you let the mattress air out in a well-ventilated room. Edge support issues affect all-foam beds and are a tradeoff for the better motion isolation. If edge support is critical, look at hybrid models. Customer service responsiveness has been called out on Reddit threads, so buying through Amazon adds buyer protection.
